Marvin Bloom, Timothy Meadows, and the wildest green suit you could image me stuffing myself into, are all ready to hit the rails and travel cross-country from Harrisburg, PA to Vancouver, BC. I’ll be in the Twin Cities for a week both exploring the lives of gender outlaws in the Bible as well as considering queer responses to climate change. Then it is off to Vancouver where I will present at the Vancouver Theological Seminary and a United Church of Canada parish and then for the always amazing Evolve conference for youth and young adults from all over British Columbia.
I will then spend a VERY FULL week in Washington and Oregon where I will perform, Does This Apocalypse Make Me Look Fat? A Comedy about Broken Bodies, Large and Small at the University of Puget Sound and I will get to present for my friends at Freedom Friends Church in Salem, OR. On my return trip I get to stop off at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, then my very last stop at a Mennonite church in Pittsburgh.
If you have been following Climate Stew and come to one of these events, PLEASE, come up to me and say hi. Well, not while I am actually on the stage presenting but right after or before. And if you like Marvin Bloom on the podcast, oh and Elizabeth Jeremiah, wait until you see them live and in person.
See the FULL SCHEDULE and don’t worry, the Climate Stew program will continue to appear magically every Monday.
